What stays on your device
Field values, generated output and share links are processed only in the page. Nothing you type into a tool is sent to a server or saved in an account.

Docs feedback
When you answer Was this technical guide helpful?, the page’s yes or no count goes up by one. To stop repeat votes, a salted hash of your IP address and the page is kept for 30 days; the address itself is never stored.
Secrets and salts
Generators that create secrets, such as wp-config.php salts, generate them with your browser’s cryptographic random number generator when the page loads. They are never part of the page sent by the server. See Handling secrets.
