Every BucketWP tool is a form on the left and its output on the right. The output is rebuilt in the page each time you change a field; nothing you type is sent to a server.
Validation
Fields are checked as you type. When a value is invalid, the field shows what is wrong and the output is marked out of date. Copy, Download and Share Link stay disabled until every field is valid again, so you never copy code built from a half-typed value.
The output buttons
- Copy puts the whole output on your clipboard.
- Download saves it as a file with the right name, such as
wp-config.phpor.htaccess. - Share Link copies a URL that reopens the tool with the same settings. See Sharing settings.
- Reset puts every field back to its default and clears the settings from the address bar.
Generators and converters
Generators, such as the .htaccess Generator, fill a template from your options. Converters, such as the Unix Timestamp Converter, transform what you paste. Both run the same way: in the page, with no account and no upload.
