Sharing Settings

Share Link copies a URL that restores every option on the tool page. Use it to send a setup to a colleague or to keep a configuration you use often.

The settings are turned into JSON, encoded as URL-safe Base64 and added after #c=. The part of a URL after # is never sent to a server, so opening the link loads the normal tool page and the script reads the settings from the address bar.

If a link is damaged or its settings no longer fit the tool, the tool loads its defaults and tells you so.

Every field value, and nothing else. Encoded is not encrypted: anyone with the link can read it. Clear passwords and other private values before you share. Generated secrets such as wp-config.php salts are not field values, so they are never part of a link.

Very large setups can be too long for a link. The tool tells you when that happens instead of copying a broken URL.
